Students research, design, and test 2 app prototypes over 7 months with the support of a Tutor and a Mentor.

What I Teach

Courses

1 Month Intro UX: During this 1 month introduction to Design Thinking, I guide students through researching, prototyping, and testing a mobile vocabulary learning app.

6 month Course: Over the course of 6 months, students complete 6 themed modules. I guide them through user research, content strategy, prototyping and testing at different fidelities, visual design, and project storytelling.

Skills

Research: Competitor analysis, user interviews, survey design, usability testing, A/B preference testing.

Content Strategy: User personas, journey maps, affinity mapping, site maps, rainbow spreadsheets.

Wireframing: Low fidelity, mid fidelity wireframing, and high fidelity prototyping with interactive prototyping tools (e.g. InVision, XD), UI principles.
